It's what fun is

This year me and Nate swore we weren't going to take the boys to Lagoon.  Too much money, too hot, too busy, etc.  My sister tried to get me to buy season passes with her for all the kids.  No thanks, I'll pass.  I don't mind Lagoon but it's not somewhere I want to be every weekend.
The boys ended up talking us into going, even though it was on the no-go list, and that's how we spent our 4th of July.
It was actually a pretty perfect family day (minus the buckets of sweat that came off of me. I should be 20 pounds lighter but of course that didn't happen).

Here are the happenings:

Gus is at an age where he's too big for the kid rides but doesn't like a lot of the big rides so he was on his own a lot.
Kenzie took pity on him and went with him on some.
Then Steph took pity on him...

Nate opted to take Bay around on all the kiddy rides.
He can't handle the big kid rides anymore...he's getting weak in his old age.

Then Dilon was trying to act all cool and brave and said he wanted to do the sky coaster.  After he realized he would be 150 feet in the air and falling towards his possible death he lost a bit of that confidence.
He was white as a ghost and panic filled his eyes. He looked about the same as me after I sat down to ride cannibal.
He survived. So did I.

To top the night off we got to watch fireworks all around us on the ride home.  Perfect way to end the night (and help take our minds off our aching feet).
